You're looking for a "done-for-you" service where you can hand it off and disappear. This is a "Work Hard In Person" (WHIP) Day, an intense, collaborative, "done-with-you" sprint. I will not write your essays for you.
You cannot clear your calendar and be 100% focused and present in person for our entire 9 am to 9 pm session. This day requires your full, undivided attention.
You are not willing or able to complete the mandatory prep work, which includes the WHIP Day Intake Form and uploading any application materials you have already drafted to the Work in Progress Portal.
You are not open to direct, expert feedback on your writing and personal stories. We move very fast, and our process requires a high level of mutual trust.
You're hoping to use the WHIP Day to work on applications for multiple schools. Our WHIP Day is a strategic deep dive designed to perfect your application for one target school.

Application Accelerator + Application Intervention client

First, you'll complete our brief WHIP Day Intake Form. This is where you'll tell me about your target school and your applicant profile (e.g. college, major, GPA, and a bit about your work experience).
Once your form is submitted, I will share your private Work in Progress Portal, a secure Google Drive folder.
You'll use this portal to upload all your current application materials. This can include any existing drafts (essays, resume, short answers), notes, school research, or LORs you're working on. I will edit those materials ahead of time, so that you can revise them. This will help us make progress more quickly on your WHIP Day.
Note: Don't worry if you don't have many (or any) drafts! It's perfectly fine. We can start from scratch. However, if you do have materials to share, our WHIP Day will be even more productive.
Estimated time to complete: 30-60 minutes. (This prep work must be completed at least 10 days before your WHIP Day to ensure I have adequate time to review.)

This is our 60-90 minute strategic deep dive. I will lead you through a series of questions about your personal, professional, and academic background, your key accomplishments, and the unique challenges and experiences that have shaped you.
I'll send the questions to you in advance so you can start thinking, but you do not need to prepare any notes. The goal is for you to speak freely and "off the top of your head." I will handle all the note-taking.
The purpose of this call is for me to create your "Content Bank." This is the comprehensive report I'll build from our conversation. From this, I will create the strategic outlines for you, and you will use these outlines to write your powerful essay drafts during our WHIP Day. Call duration: 60-90 minutes.

This is our all-in, collaborative sprint. We kick things off with a Welcome Dinner the night before. You'll meet with me, and if other Art of Applying consultants and past clients are in the area, they'll join us as well. This is an amazing opportunity to build your network.
The WHIP Day itself is one long, focused session starting at 10 am. This is a true collaborative relay: using the strategic outlines I created, you will be writing your essay drafts while I am simultaneously revising other components. We'll pass materials back and forth in a constant, iterative loop to polish your resume, finalize short answers, and perfect your essays.
We'll take breaks for lunch and continue this high-energy sprint into the evening with a Working Dinner, concluding our work no later than 9 pm. Our work is structured, so that by the end of the day, your application materials for your target school will be 100% polished and submission-ready.
What you'll need: Just bring your laptop. What's most important is that you arrive ready to focus and be fully present. This is an intense, collaborative day, and I'll need your undivided attention to get it all done.

Wrapping Up: By 9 pm, our collaborative work is 100% complete. The goal is to have all your final, submission-ready materials (essays, resume, short answers, LOR edits) organized and accessible in your private WHIP Day Portal.
Follow-up Questions: My support for you continues after our day together. For 14 days following your WHIP Day, you can ask me any follow-up questions in writing directly within your portal. I'll be there to provide clarity on the specific application we perfected together.
Submission Day: Additionally, I'm here for you at the most critical moment. You will have direct access to me via WhatsApp for the 48 hours leading up to your submission deadline. This is for any last-minute, "hitting-submit" questions to give you total peace of mind.

This is a "done-with-you" collaborative sprint. Our success depends on your active participation. The speed at which we finish is directly related to your ability to work at a swift pace, write new content (if needed), and respond to edits in our iterative relay. You must be 100% focused and present for the entire day.
The WHIP Day is designed to perfect your application for one (1) target school. This is not for multiple applications.
I do not guarantee admission to any school. My promise is that you will leave our WHIP Day with an application that is 100% polished, powerful, and represents your absolute best, which will significantly increase your chances.
Your travel and accommodation are not included in the WHIP Day fee. I will provide the workspace, snacks, drinks, lunch, and dinner during our WHIP Day.

What if I am starting from scratch and have zero drafts?
That is perfectly fine and exactly why the Content Capture Call is part of the process. My job is to help you build your strategic story (your "Content Bank") from the ground up. I will create the outlines based on our conversation, and you will write the first drafts during our day. If you do have drafts, we'll start there. If not, we start with your story. This process is designed to work for both scenarios.
What if I am an international applicant?
This is a perfect environment for you. I have worked with thousands of clients from all over the world. Our intensive, 1-on-1 collaboration is the fastest way to polish your writing and ensure your unique story is communicated in clear, powerful, and natural-sounding English. We will refine your voice and ensure your application reads beautifully.

Make sure you have already taken any required English language tests and scored at least the minimum required by your school.
Can I also work on my scholarship applications?
No, the WHIP Day does not include scholarship applications. Our day is strategically focused on perfecting the core application materials for your one target school (personal statements, required essays, resume, short answers, and LORs). Scholarship essays, even if they are for the same school, are considered a separate project and are not included in this intensive.

Can I do a WHIP Day virtually?
Yes, a virtual option is available for $18,000. We will meet and collaborate live over Google Meet for the same 10 am - 9 pm intensive session Central Time.

If you are in a time zone that is 4 or more hours away from Central Time, we can spread the WHIP Day over two consecutive days at time blocks that work well for both of us.

The core deliverables (the Content Capture Call, strategic outlines, collaborative relay, and post-session support) are all included.

The virtual option does not include the Welcome Dinner, and meals/snacks are not provided as we will not be co-located.
What if I need to reschedule?
Your $9,100 deposit is non-refundable, as it reserves a full, dedicated day in my calendar that cannot be offered to anyone else.

If you must reschedule, you may do so one time by providing written notice at least 5 calendar days before your scheduled WHIP Day. Your full payment will be applied to a new date, which must be within 90 days of your original WHIP Day.

Cancellations or reschedules made within 5 calendar days of your WHIP Day are not permitted and will, unfortunately, forfeit the entire $18,000 fee.

Where will we meet for our WHIP Day?
For an in-person WHIP Day, I can meet you in any US city within 1 hour’s drive of a commercial airport. I can’t afford to fly private yet!

For a virtual WHIP Day, we will meet on Google Meet.
